WE ARE GETTING ALONG VERY WELL!

Bundled as she was last night this little peanut got chilly.  I know because she woke up at 2 a.m.  (she'd gone down a little before 7:30 p.m. so that wasn't too bad).  When I changed her diaper, I discovered that her skin was chilly to the touch.  So I added a nice warm covering to her and she slept nicely until about 6:30 a.m.

Thinking she was probably up for the morning I brought her downstairs and we sat on the floor and played (I was really groggy still and not ready for getting up*).  I made her a bottle which she drank a bit of and she became really fussy.  I thought my notes from her mommy said this was a smiley time of day and this was NOT a smiley baby I had.  I thought she acted tired still.  I carried her back up to Rhiannon's room and we both layed down on the big bed and snuggled under the warm blanket and she fell back to sleep for another hour (about).

Then the little person who woke up had smiles and happy babbling.  Gram(me) brought her down and got her ready for Sabbath School.  I even put a pony tail in her hair.  She didn't like sitting still for that and I thought I was pulling her hair, so it wasn't in very good.  It didn't even last until she got to Sabbath School.

* I was glad for the extra snooze time too -- because even tho I slept okay.  I didn't sleep SOUND and I dreamed weird dreams.  Randy and I saw a shooting.  And then the shooter was after me (and it was dark and I was carrying Jaimee) - he was scaring me as I walked and I tried to walk faster, but he came after me faster, I swung a gate shut as I tried to go fast and he yelled "YOU! - yeah, you with the kid ..."  I ran and yelled "HELP" - and it woke me up because I actually yelled HELP!  I don't know if I've ever called out in my sleep before.  I was glad I was home in my bed!  Whew!

This morning Randy needed to pick up Jerry at the nursing home, so he offered to drop Jaimee off at the Sabbath School class so I could get ready.  (Randy and I sort of take turns doing the pick up duty - with him having the most turns, because I'm just nice like that!)

Jaimee loved Sabbath School according to Jean Eno and Tammy Paul who are both in that department.  When I got there I looked in the window and snapped a picture of her through the window (see pics below of her and Reese at SS this a.m.).  She was holding some sort of toy thing, they were 'playing instruments' according to the song.  Betty Lincoln said that Jaimee loved the piano music and couldn't take her eyes off Betty every time she played.  Jean and Tammy both seemed pleased she got to be there today.  Tammy saw me flash the picture through the window and ran up later to get the camera so she could take the other pictures.  I thought that was nice.

Church went fine.  Bellie stole Jaimee after children's story (until J filled her diaper for the 3rd time that morning - then I got her back).  Heidi Hoppe's daughter (Birgitte) was there with all three of her boys (Andy, Jonathon and Joseph) and her husband Randy.  They are on their way to Gatlinburg, TN for ??? I didn't catch what it was.   Some church related convention.  Heidi is going along.

We took Jerry and his mom Carol back to the nursing home after church.  Took a bit longer than we thought it might - had to locate Carol's purse which she thought she had put "IN THIS VEHICLE".  Turned out she sat down in the foyer before Randy got the van up to the front of the church and what she remembered was tucking her purse under that seat.

We went from the nursing home straight out to the farm.  The kitchen looks so nice.  Mom always has things look so pretty.  New everything in there from the floor to cupboards.  Zachary did a lot of the work and he did a nice job.  Wynter was there she looked nice.  She's lost 44 pounds.  Because we had a wedding to go to at 2:30 p.m. we basically ate and ran (which makes me feel guilty for not helping out - mom worked so hard to make a DELICIOUS meal).

The wedding was outside.  With the fall colors against the bright blue background it was pretty.  These were the young people that bought Tazzy, the puppy.

From there we came home.  Jaimee went down for a nap (she fell asleep INSTANTLY), tho she did wake with a start about 45 minutes later and started crying.  Nick came right down and said "COME! She's crying!!"  All it took was for me to lay down with her on the big bed and we snuggled up and she slept there.  In total she slept from 3:15 p.m. to 6:38 p.m.  Nick kept an eye on her while we went to small group.  I didn't want to wake her up to go, and I didn't want to miss small group.  Worked out well.

Now we're watching Baby Einstein.
